Outdoor Brands Stepping up to Support Racial Equality and Social Justice


The ongoing struggle for social justice and racial equality crisis in the U.S. reached an inflection point with the May 25 police-killing of George Floyd. On the heels of other gut-wrenching examples of injustice to the Black community that included the deaths of Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, plus the efforts of Amy Cooper to mischaracterize Central Park birdwatcher Christian Cooper to the NYPD, the world has doubled down on needed reforms for institutional racism.
